Do You REALLY???

I'm watching the evening news and Brian Williams is breaking it down for me, breaking down the numbers of why I'm paying so freaking much for gasoline.  Why YOU are paying so freaking damn much for gasoline.  So he is telling this tax, that tax, ass tax, K-Y tax, etc. etc. then he gets to this .31 cent tax that really catches my eyes and ears.  Damn, "Distribution and Marketing Tax" factored into the price per gallon.  I shit you not!!!.......unfreaking believable.  Do these freaking knuckleheads need to charge me a fee to let me know I NEED GASOLINE.  Since when did we need advertising to tell us our cars need gasoline.  I thought that big giant  sign that read EXXON or MOBIL or what have you was enough to get me to drive into their station to pump some gas into my car.  Instead they pump my ass for another .31 cents!!!  C'mon.....I thought that needle pointing to EMPTY was enough of a trigger for me to become the gas station's number one customer.  Some of those other taxes are also very suspect.  When is this crap going to end??

It sucks, doesn't it? I feel like they have us right where they want us, and there is nothing most of us can do about it. We have to drive to work, we have to drive the kids to school, and the truth is, many communities aren't set up for living on foot, even if you are fit and able to walk or bike. Add the rising cost of food and although we are being far more careful with our money, we have far less to spend and no relief in sight. But, what can we do? If you know please tell.
